AL and his Downtown Trip

I used part of my weekend to walk around North side of Downtown and I had took some pics. Some friends of mine help me with my homework, and that was so funny. The sad part of my Trip was that I used a Walgreens camera and at the revealed procces part of my Trip was erased. However, here are some of my memoirs about this last weekend.

I had visited the museum of Comtemporary Art of Chicago, which now in the front they try to make some kind of exposition. Nevertheless, I took a picture in front of it. The Comtemporary Museum is so important in a City like Chicago. Chicago is considered one of the artistic cities of U.S. Around the Loop, or entire Downtown also the suburds, are a big feber for constructions. In those buildings, escultures, parks or simples gardens people or companies try to put a touch of art in each of them. Obviuosly, more than teh 70 % are modern art styles. That was the reason for which I want to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago. I invited yours, would be a nice experince. Let me tell you a secret ...is free on Mondays.

Other Landmark in Downtown Chicago that I liked to visited is one of the Campus Building of NorthWestern University. That Campus building is near to my student house. I always saw a crowd of students walk around. It's Victorian style I liked so much, also they are convined with a touch of gothic style.

Cheesecake factory, was the next step of my Trip. I don't used to been there, but I like the enviroment in that place. Young people, students, tourists, childrens are must of the guest that Cheese cake factory have. Perhaps a little fansy, however very funny place.

Other place that I like to vistit perhaps is not a Landmark of Chicago. However, look to me like a Landmark in the North side of downtown. That place is the old Quigley Seminary (was a religious institution). This Year was it last year like school, now is under construction or restoration. That place look to me so misteriuos, because is in the middle of modern buildings Quigley seminary with it's new Gothic-Victorian style look so enithmathic. The color of the building, also the space that it take in that so important and exclusivily zone, look to me so atractive. But the most important for me, was the building style in them middle of that neigborhood near to Water Tower Center looks so out of place.

My final palce was the Loyola University Downtown Campus. I always was curious to been there. With my Walgreen Camera in hand I walk througth the receptions looking at the receptionist eyes. In front of her I said......May I take a picture here..and that's it. I took my pics and left the Loyola University Receptions so happy....I had done my Homework.
