I believe in the Power of Music

Music is the expression of our deepest feelings, with music we can fly and it takes us to a magical world where everything is possible. I believe that music is the open door to be who we really are. I believe that the power of music can take us out of the bad moments. Music will take us out of deep depression, or music will be our best company in that moments. If it is raining, music is the sun shining in the darkness, but music is more than that, music is happiness, passion, comfort and music is dance. Music is the language of our soul, music is the universal language because even though you can’t understand the words, the rhythm and the beat of the song penetrate your skin and travel in your senses and make your body and feelings move. Music is the language which can help you to make the most beautiful poems.
I was born with music in my blood, the notes of the cumbia, salsa, merengue, mapale and vallenato were playing to me when I was in the womb of my mother, it was there where I began to dance and I felt in love with the music. Since I was child music was an important part in my life and now that I am far from my country and my family, music plays a part more important because thanks to music I can remember many special moments that I lived in Colombia. Sweets and sour notes full of happiness or discontented, but those are notes that with a mysterious power will take you to the dance floor and make you forget everything.
There are special people, moment, places even phrases that for one or other reason are unforgettable, but something make us remember it and take us again in a travel by the time to live that situation. Music is like the first love, we always keep it in our heart. I believe in the music’s power and the sweet and sour taste that it puts in our life.
